How can we empower independence for those with early dementia?
As a team of 4 product designers, our goal was to define a memory support system that bridges the gap between seniors and caregivers.

Problem
Memory loss is more than just forgetting.
For seniors with early dementia, it’s a loss of independence and safety. Existing solutions are either too complex for cognitive decline to provide real-time visibility for caregivers, leaving both parties in a state of constant anxiety.

We identified the most intuitive way to bridge memory gaps.
With insights from dementia-friendly design principles, we prioritized voice commands, large touch targets, and single-accent dashboards.

While designing with accessibility in mind, I realized that the greater value of AI lies not in speed, but in patience and the ability to grasp context.
Ecosystem Thinking
The best user experience happens when the phone, watch, and glasses work as a single, invisible support layer.
